Recently we visited The Orange Table restaurant, located at: 7373 East Scottsdale Mall in Scottsdale. This is certainly a diner for a new generation. Diner does not even adequately describe this delectable hot spot nestled in the Scottsdale Civic Center plaza. It is somewhere between a coffee shop and a wine bar. Unlike many Scottsdale spots, this one has an unpretentious air about it. The crowd is a young, hip and artsy group, and the overall scene is casual and comfy. Depending upon the weather, you can sit either on the patio or inside. You can also enjoy a drink at the small bar and enjoy either wine or a glass of beer.
The Orange Table's food is Diner-like only in that it serves the basics such as bagels, sandwiches, eggs and bacon etc. On the other hand the bread is homemade and delicious. Everything is fresh and the coffee is rich. You can visit The Orange Table for breakfast, lunch, and dinner although, we have only been for breakfast and lunch. This is a place where you feel right at home, and if you are in Old Town Scottsdale looking for a bite or a drink, we highly recommend it!
